For not for profits with employees who spend much of their time away from the office, The Raiser’s Edge mobile app provides access to important constituent data while you're on the go. Access up-to-date constituent profiles — right from your smartphones — which means no more lugging around binders or laptops. With constituent information, including recent gift data, at your fingertips and quick access to enter, edit, and dictate both Actions and Notes, you’ll always have what you need to make each visit successful!

The Raiser’s Edge mobile app is available to customers at no additional charge, as a benefit
of maintenance. Explore the app features or download the datasheet to learn more about its functionality.

Latest update includes:
  • Access to Organisation records
  • Soft credits available in giving history and recent gifts

Mobile Fundraising with The Raiser's Edge

1-2-3-Mobilise for Administrators

  1. If you host The Raiser’s Edge on your own servers, update to
    The Raiser’s Edge version 7.92 Patch 5
  2. On a machine with 24/7 Internet access, install the Mobile service from the Web Services module in The Raiser’s Edge version 7.92.
  3. Send the unique System Key (generated during Step 2) to mobile users

  1. Install The Raiser’s Edge app from your appstore or marketplace to your iPhone, Android or Blackberry device (search for “Raisers Edge”)
  2. Obtain your organisation’s unique System Key from your Administrator
  3. Log into the app using your Raiser’s Edge credentials and the System Key from Step 2

Upgrading RE Mobile

Getting the updated functionality

Access to the new functionality requires:

  1. The latest web service
  2. For your users to update the app on their devices when prompted.

Below are instructions for updating or installing the web service based on where you host your Raiser’s Edge.

If you host with Blackbaud and have previously activated the mobile web service:

  • It will automatically be updated.

If you host Raiser’s Edge on your own servers:

  • If you completed the initial install of the mobile web service or installed an update on or after December 21, 2012, your web service will be automatically updated.
  • If you completed the initial install of the mobile web service before December 21, 2012 and have not updated it since December 21, 2012, visit this Knowledge Base article to access instructions for updating your mobile web service to the latest version.
