Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital Foundation

The Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital (RBWH) Foundation transforming the way it operates with Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge NXT®.

For many years, the RBWH Foundation has worked in the community to raise funds for the hospital while also managing a number of other operations: clinical trials; patient entertainment systems, and other auxiliary needs within the hospital.

The partnership saw a long period of success; the hospital is Queensland’s largest, the third largest hospital in Australia, and independently ranked within the top 100 in the world.

In the last few years, the RBWH Foundation began looking for new ways to maximise its philanthropy, both at home and internationally.

In handing back a number of other operations, the Foundation doubled down on fundraising – and they haven’t looked back.

In September 2019, the RBWH Foundation adopted Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge NXT, a cloud-based CRM which provides Fundraising Teams powerful analytics, data storage and presentation, smart recommendations, and more – all within one centralised interface.
